• With persistence, I finally found an affordable copy of one of my favorite books, about composing poetry, Writing the Australian Crawl, by one of my favorite poets, William Stafford. Here’s how he opens the book:

I was listening to your 2024 playlist on Spotify again yesterday. I first started listening to your playlists in 2022.. Those playlists are how I came to actually subscribe recently—your quirky musical taste, along with your pithy takes got to me. (You also were in Honolulu back in the day, and that is my hometown..)
It’s great because your playlists are several days long. I do a lot of long distance driving. Its been a great way to hear some new music I would never have found otherwise. I can just fast forward if its not for me. So the question is are you preparing a new one for 2025?
