AFTER READING Émile P. Torres’ excellent forensics on OpenAI’s Sam Altman’s recent blog post (after Altman’s home was shot at and Molotov cocktailed last week), I wanted to repost my astrological takes on Altman from last year.
Each paragraph I read in Torres’ Substack piece had me nodding my head and exclaiming, “Yes, that fucking jam-up between Taurus and Scorpio in Altman’s natal chart.”
When a devolved Taurus goes bad (see Hitler, Hirohito, Saddam Hussein, Lenin, and Cromwell), they hold nothing back, pushing the destructive potential of consolidated power to an extreme. And, of course, Altman is a Taurus with a crazy-ass Mars in Taurus in opposition to Saturn in Scorpio. And his Sun in an exact opposition to fucking Pluto. Can megalomania get anymore astro textbook?
The other big Altman news last week was the publication of the New Yorker’s Ronan Farrow’s extensive trawling of all things Altman and OpenAI. Another piece that repeatedly highlighted Altman’s sociopathology.
