First thing that came to mind… “strawberry fields forever” …. “Nothing is real… “ at least it feels that way

I’ve had that lyric in my head for a long while now, especially since AI is ramping up.

Yes! Thank you for that. I tried to work Dave's technique where the focus is the Sun, Moon and Ascendant.

Thanks so much for the excellent recommendation to watch the Barbara Walters biography! Her chart really tells the story...How else to use that Moon/ Jupiter in Gemini in the 9th but with words, travel and reporting! With Uranus in the 7th she was such a free spirit and pioneer; the Mercury conjunct Mars in Libra sq Pluto is such a wonderful signature of asking those hard questions in a balanced, elegant and penetrating, Venus in Leo glamorous way..what a chart! What a life!

Spot on delineation, Jeri. The shots of her walking through a bombed out Iraq in a pink Chanel suit conveyed everything you needed to know about her strategy.

I watched the Walters documentary last week. I was drawn to it because she was so influential when I was in high school. As was SNL. If it’s true that ‘mockery is the sincerest form of flattery’ then Gilda Radner held Baba Wawa in high esteem. (Have you done Gilda’s chart?) I love the idea of ‘moment of astrology’. Kinda like a 3 car pull in Tarot just to get a bead on the day. I had no idea astrology could be used like that. I’m going to experiment - thanks! How nimble this art/science! Hope the Air Force planes didn’t drive you too nuts. I’m under a flight path for Blackhawk helicopters. Nothing like having the TV regularly drowned out in late evening as a flock of them rumble overhead and shake the china. The joys of living on the outskirts of DC.

I haven't seen Gilda's chart, Mitzi -- but that would be a great inquiry to do -- to catch what is mirroring what between them.

Great information, thank you. And speaking of Trump, Barbara W did a fantastic interview with him during his Ivana and Plaza Hotel days and she really used that Mercury Mars square Pluto on him. He was busy denying he knew anyone named Marla Maples and was being nailed on the 'no US banks will lend you money anymore' so this was when he turned to Russia and then Saudi Arabia. Enjoy. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5TwVCuPJrMw&t=4s

Wow, this is a revelation. And of course in the footage they show in the doc, of her and Trump, he's whining about everything is so unfair and stacked against him (and this is back in 1980 I think). He manifests every horrid quality of a Venus/Saturn conjunction. Amplified by Cancerian whining, one of the sign';s most unsavory traits.

Thanks for this Shellie!

The exerpt about Pluto in Capricorn was so interesting and to the point. Ed Tamblin wrote about it as well, before he died and thank goodness I copied and pasted that into my own files.

I can’t read my chart, that’s why I ‘see’ astrologers! So you sometimes mention your students. Do you give classes over Zoom?

I took a break from teaching after several years on Vashon. Though Dabney has me intrigued about starting that motor up again, Cee.

Where's The Moon? I was so privileged to know Michael Lutin. You always honor other influences on your craft, as here. Great article and video.
