Your Best Moves for the Autumn Equinox
With Saturn’s retrograde into Pisces, we pause and endure more of the reality warping that the Trump administration gets maximum mileage from. What turns this season into a red alert zone is the aforementioned square between an itchy Mars in Scorpio making a square to Pluto in Aquarius. Nature seems primed for one of its cathartic clashes that translate into warlike responses.

Our talk was akin to a forensic session, as Jessica mapped out the current Saturn-Neptune transits through Pisces and Aries—and evoked the term ‘the fog of war’ to illustrate the perspectival mood right now.
We also looked at the symbolic stature of podcaster Charlie Kirk and New York mayoral candidate Zohran Mamdani—bookends of the current sociopolitical moment we’re working through now.
Where Kirk’s death represents a closing-down process (despite what was on display at yesterday’s WWE-like stadium memorial), Mamdani is very much present and asserts the possibility of an uplifting path forward.
What’s so uncanny about these two men are the similarities between their birth charts. Both charts feature a Libra Sun with Mercury conjunct Mars in Scorpio. More cogent, both men carried/carry the torch of the powerful 1990s, generation-defining Uranus-Neptune conjunction.

I’m definitely looking forward to this! I have 3 kids and 5 nieces and nephews born with that conjunction - and obviously almost all their friends. I’ve been watching them grow up enough to see how it’s beginning to show in their lives as Pluto has gone over it first in Capricorn and now in Aquarius. They’re a potent force!
