Thank you for such an insight filled discussion. So many excellent points. I wonder if the Neptune/ Saturn conj in Aries signals a new view of what it means to be a man, and whether masculinity could include some positive neptunian qualities in the future. Instead of the conquering/plundering/dominating picture, we could move towards fatherhood and nurturing and protecting our Cancerian country…. Nah. My Libran Neptune wishes for the impossible, perhaps!
Ah, the Dream Team is back! Thank you for the wonderful and entertaining insights. You asked about what we ought to be doing during these trying times. My husband and I just held a Garage Sale. We opened every cupboard, every closet, every shelf and literally gathered up all the crap that had been left to us by so many dead relatives. We put it out on the carport and chatted with neighbors, petted dogs, and made new friends. That's how you clean up after a big Pluto transit. Get rid of your shit! Did we make any money??? Of course not, but we had the joy of doing something together, and building community around the stories we told about when and where we acquired so much stuff. I highly recommend it to your subscribers. Thank you!!!
I did the same last month, but without looking to the cosmos for guidance. I just had a feeling it was time. It started out getting rid of wine glasses I don't use, and then I looked at shelves and into closets and kept going.
People don't have garage sales in Japan. They just put stuff on the curb in front of their houses with a sign, "Free! Help yourself!" but this is very very rare. Luckily I live near the only Salvation Army in Tokyo, possibly all of Japan. It's been my go to option but this time I felt that passersby would benefit from more. And I had some nice things: Hiroshige ukiyoe prints, summer kimonos that I haven't worn in 20 years.
It gave me comfort sending my stuff out into the world for others to enjoy since I no longer did. Sic transit gloria mundi...
When we renovated our house in 2008, I gathered up all the stuff and donated it to Salvation Army instead of having a garage sale. We tired the garage sale this time and the result was we actually lost money in that it took up so much time, but we did get to see neighbors and have conversations about some of the items we were selling.
Agree with the rest of the comments here, you and Jessica make for a great partnership.
This has also been my understanding, for the last couple of years: people are out of touch with the degree of decay that the MAGA movement represents. That Frederick calls it necrophilic is even more fitting.
Thank you both for another set of revelations that will leave me thinking throughout the summer.
Wow! What a great Sunday morning listen. Thank you!
My heart and soul thanks you both, Blessed be.
