Dr. Dream: January 21, 2022

Your dreams, on the couch. Nocturnal language of the ineffable. A tiny creature's midnight-magic touch.

Dear Dr. Dream

I look forward to your column, I wish you would do them more often. I don’t always understand (or agree) with your readings, but I love thinking about dreams and what sort of messages they might deliver. I was excited when I had this dream last night. And, boy oh boy, it’s a weird one. The dream starts in an ordinary way, where I am sitting in my kitchen in the morning, like I do every morning, having coffee and waiting for the moment I need to go upstairs and get my husband up for work. (Well, to log on for work, as he’s telecommuting now). But when I look at the clock it reads 12 o’clock, but it is 12 midnight. I feel alarmed about the strange shift. But also anxious about my husband not getting up for his job. And then, just as I get ready to stand up from the table a small tiny person appears. He sort of pops out of the cupboard area beneath my kitchen sink. He is handsome and dressed in a tiny tuxedo. As he approaches me I feel a sweetness in my heart. Just as he touches my knee I wake up. Can you help me with this dream, please?
